What is a hair replacement system you may ask. Well you probably would recognize the term toupee' a lot more readily. The problem that hair piece manufacturers have come up with is that toupee's have turned into a comedy routine. You almost can't even say the word without the vision of a man with his hair falling off into his soup and flipping into his face. Also, don't forget the vision of the man diving into the pool and his hair floating away looking like some sort of sea animal. They just get a real bad rap. Some of it is deserved because they really didn't do a very good job of making ones that fit in the early days. Also there is the item about how they look. It is interesting the hair is such an important part of how a man is viewed but that really is the case. Some researchers believe it has to do with our ancestors needs to procreate in such a way that the best genes would be passed on to the next generation. A full head of hair indicated health and so the females would pick these males as their mates which gave their genes the best chance for staying around.
This goes a long way to explaining why hair replacement systems are important to a man's self esteem and why men still purchase them even though there is a chance for embarrassment.
